New Trainers:  We are pleased to announce our affiliation with Tara Nason, a professional who excels in show jumping.  Tara is training horses at Ironwood Farm.  She brings considerable experience and professionalism to our program.  Please welcome Tara!

In addition, we wish to welcome back, Gretchen Zwerner, a former employee who has returned to assist us with weekend training and lessons. 

Sales Horses: We have a number of nice riding horses for sale, both our own and consignments.  Some are experienced and some are green.  All are in current work/training.  If you are shopping for a Fjord, take a look at our selection. 

Lessons:  We offer a limited number of riding lessons this fa.. as well as lessons through Culpeper County Parks and Rec starting in September.  

Virginia Fjord Festival:  Congratulations to Noel Hersson for winning the Driving Championship, Tom Snyder for winning the Draft Championship and Olivia Schiermeyer winning the Jr. Rider W/T/C and the W/T Championship.  Each one of them used Helle, who was High Point Horse and Versatility Winner for the Show.  The make matters complete, Ironwood Blitzen with Georgia Corey in the saddle won the Sr. Rider W/T/C division.

2010 Performance Successes:

We are very proud of our stallion, Ironwood Blitzen, winning the USEA Area II Beginner Novice Championship on August 21st with Tiffany Catledge in the irons.  He finished on his dressage score of 30.5.  Blitzen had tough competition from horses excelling at this level throughout the Area II region.  We are very proud of his victory.  Thanks for the great ride, Tiffany!  Blitzen will event twice more this year -- at CDCTA at Locust Hill and Rubicon Farm in Lucketts.  Go Blitzen!
