Tomten is a sporty type Fjord from imported lines.  He stood as a stallion briefly, but has been gelded to pursue a career as a performance horse.  Tomten was started under saddle by a professional and us doing well with ring work and on trail rides. 

Tomten is quiet, well behaved and eager to learn.  He is being shown and is fine in new surroundings.  We expect Tomten to make an exceptionally nice performance horse.  Walks and trots under saddle, beginning to canter.   He has eye-catching presence.  14.0 hands approximately.  Asking price is $6,000 but will go up as he continues with his professional training. 

Honeycreek Toril, S4 (Gelding, DOB 8/1/03)  Sire:  Flotren  Dam:  OH Inga Mai

This pony has everything you could possibly imagine in a Fjord.  He has been used extensively in Pony Club, taking D’s and C’s to pony club lessons, rallies, and shows.  He is excellent in games and qualified for the USPC Nationals.  He has done extensive cross country jumping and has lots of Western trail experience.  He’s 13.2 but does everything the bigger horses do.  He has received his Silver Medallion of Quality in English Riding from the NFHR.  Toril is forward going and best suited for a rider with some experience and confidence.  He is unflappable -- he has done mounted shooting without issue.  This great Fjord won’t last long.  UTD on everything.  Asking price is $6,500.

Ironwood Erik Aleksander (Gelding, DOB 8/1/04)  Sire:  Ironwood Blitzen  Dam:  Lynnhaven Elli

Erik is a Fjord with “wow” appeal.  He is 14.3 and has a lovely head.  As breeders we are thrilled to have produced such a nice gelding.  Recently evaluated for conformation by the NFHR, Erik got 8’s on his body and movement. 

Erik is a young horse that has been started correctly.  He is going well under saddle and in dressage training with a professional.  Currently, he is being shown at local dressage schooling shows at the Intro level.  His movement is very good and we are introducing cantering and low level jumping to him.  Erik has had extensive ground driving and is beginning work in harness, too.  Erik is willing to work and likes the attention.

He loads, stands for the farrier, is current on shots, floating and worming.  Erik trailers without issue and does well at new venues.

Dagmar II, S3 (Mare, DOB 6/10/98)  Sire:  Rams Lindemann  Dam: Brita

 Dagmar is well trained and likes jumping.  She has been used in Pony Club lessons, clinics and games for the last year.  Easy to ride and tolerates a variety of riders.  Has done preliminary work in harness and shows a potential for driving.  She has received her NFHR Silver Medallions of Quality in both English and Western riding.  She is currently in work and being shown regularly.

Dagmar has excellent imported bloodlines and would be a good candidate for breeding as well.  This mare is personable and affectionate.  She would make a great family Fjord as well as a performance horse.  Asking price:  $7,000.

Ironwood Kristiana (Mare, DOB 7/27/06)  Sire:  Ironwood Blitzen  Dam:  FC Madellin

Kristi is an elegant brown dun filly with an lovely head.  She is out of our stunning white dun mare, Madellin.  Kristi has her dam’s feminine good looks, is personable and loves being handled.  This mare has WONDERFUL movement.  She would be an asset to a breeding program or just a lovely family  horse.  UTD on all shots; wolf teeth removed.  DVD available.  We have started training her for driving and under saddle.  Kristi is working quietly under saddle at the walk and trot.  She is working in long lines.  She is willing and wants to learn..  Her price will increase with training.  She should mature to over 14 hands.
