Horse Fantastic Camp (Ages 7 - 16)

For all those horse lovers out there, this is the camp for you. Nothing but horses for 2-weeks.

Norwegian Fjords are known for their friendly and docile personalities. Working with these horses campers will learn about: Safety around horses and basic horse knowledge. Camp will also include beginner riding lessons, horse related games, videos, activities, and more. The last day of camp will be a End Of Camp Game and Show Off Day.

This camp is for participants with little to no horse / horse back riding experience.Each child must have proper attire-MUST HAVE-hard soled shoes with a heel. Tennis shoes / sneakers are not permitted at camp for safety when riding. Long pants are required for riding as well. Ironwood Farm will provide riding helmets. Each child should bring a bottle of water, snack, and a lunch (no glass containers). The farm has a fridge and microwave available.

Parents / adult must provide transportation to and from the farm.GANG

$450 for 2 weeks, 9 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Session 1 - 6/16 - 6/27 - Ages 7 -16

Session 2 - 7/7 - 7/18 - Ages 7 - 12

Session 3 - 7/21 - 8/1 - Ages 13 - 16

Requirements:

Each child must be at least 7 years old. Any medical problems that may affect the ability to participate in all activities must be disclosed. This is a beginner level program. Anyone interested in higher levels may inquire about the 4th camp session or riding lessons. Each child must have proper attire-MUST HAVE-hard soled shoes with a heel. NO SNEAKERS!!!! Long pants are required for riding as well. Ironwood Farm will provide riding helmets. Each child should bring a snack and a lunch. We have a fridge and microwave available. All parents and children will be required to sign a release of liability on the first day of camp.

SMSERIBEquine Excellence Camp 

For the horse lover who has some riding experience, this is the camp for you! During the next two weeks you will learn about safety around horses and basic horse knowledge. Receive riding lessons, play horse related games, learn about prepping for a horse show, attire, show classes, and how to handle things with horses when they are not cooperating. Participants will also be able to participate in the Fjord Horse Show held at Frying Pan Park on 8/17 (show entry fees additional)

Ironwood Farm will provide riding helmets. Each participant should bring a bottle of water, snack, and a lunch (no glass containers). The farm has a fridge and microwave available. Special Camp for more advanced students who want to participate in the Fjord Horse Show at Frying Pan Park on August 17th: August 4- 15, and then horse show* on the 17th

Cost per camper/session $450 plus cost of horse show classes. 8/4 - 8/15
